He Loves Me SO Much

Don’t be afraid, I’ve redeemed you. I’ve called you by name. You’re Mine. When you’re in over your head, I’ll be there with you. When you’re in rough waters, you will not go down. When you’re between a rock and a hard place, it won’t be a dead end – Because I am God, your personal God, The Holy of Israel, your Savior. I paid a huge price for you:…That’s how much you mean to Me! That’s how much I love you! I’d sell off the whole world to get you back, trade the creation just for you.
Isaiah 43:2-4

Wow! What an amazing love God has for us. It is beyond anything we can imagine. And we can always call on Him knowing that He will help us no matter what situation we find ourselves in.

The closest love I ever knew to God's kind of love was my Daddy's love. No he was not perfect but his love for me was as close to unconditional as you can get here on this earth. There were times I know I disappointed him. I know I made him mad. But there was never a second that I did not KNOW that my Daddy loved me very very much. What a security to know that you can always turn to Daddy when you need him and know he will be there because he loves you so much. I have picked up the phone and called my Daddy so many times when I needed something and he never failed to help me out. I want to call him so badly now. (But I know there must be no phones in heaven because he would have found one and called me by now :))

I need to remember to always call my heavenly Father. He wants to know when I need help but He also just wants to chat with me, just like Daddy used to. My heart is tearing into even as I write these words but I know that God has promised to be with me - so I will not go down in the deep waters or find a dead end in this strange place I now find myself. The Almighty God is with me. He is my Abba and I will not be afraid.
